Privacy Policy for KeyboardMapper
This Privacy Policy describes how VietGamePlay (“we”, “us”), the developer
of the Android application KeyboardMapper (package com.vgp.keyboardmapper, the
“App”), handles information in connection with the App. This policy applies only to this App.
1. Summary
We do not collect, store, or transmit personal data on our own servers. We operate no backend service and hold no user accounts. All of your App configuration stays on your device. The App does include third-party services from Google (advertising and in-app purchases) which process data under their own privacy policies, as described below.
2. Data stored on your device only
The App stores the following locally on your device and never sends it to us:
- Key-mapping profiles you create (key codes, on-screen positions stored as screen fractions, gesture types and auto-click timing), saved as a file in the App's private storage.
- App settings, such as which profile is active and a cached flag indicating whether you purchased the Pro version.
This data is removed when you uninstall the App or clear its data.
3. Accessibility Service and why the App needs it
The App uses an Android Accessibility Service for one purpose: to read physical keyboard key events and to dispatch the corresponding touch gestures on screen, so that a hardware key can act as a screen tap, hold or swipe. Specifically:
- Key events are evaluated in memory against your active profile and are not recorded, stored, logged or transmitted.
- The App does not read, collect or transmit screen content, text you type, passwords, or the content of other apps.
- The App does not use the Accessibility Service for any advertising, analytics or profiling purpose.
You can disable the Accessibility Service at any time in Android Settings → Accessibility.

5. Third-party services
The free version of the App displays advertising, and both versions support an optional one-time in-app purchase. These are provided by Google and process data independently of us:
- Google AdMob (ads, free version only) may collect and process device identifiers including the Advertising ID, IP address, and ad interaction data in order to serve and measure ads. See the Google Privacy Policy and how Google uses data from apps that use its services. Ads are not shown to users who purchase the Pro version.
- Google Play Billing processes your one-time purchase of the Pro upgrade. We never receive or store your payment card or billing details; the transaction is handled entirely by Google Play. See the Google Privacy Policy.
You can reset or limit your Advertising ID in Android Settings → Privacy → Ads.
6. Data we collect
We, VietGamePlay, collect no personal data ourselves. We operate no analytics, crash-reporting or tracking of our own, and we do not sell or share any data, because we hold none.
7. Children
The App is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
8. Your rights
Because we hold no personal data about you, there is no account or record for us to export or delete. Data stored locally by the App can be deleted at any time by clearing the App's data or uninstalling it. 9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the latest revision. Material changes will be reflected here before they take effect.
